22100-171416 has one too many numbers. Perhaps it is 22100-27M16?

These are very reliable distributors with reliable optical sensor -- so it most likely still works unless it is visibly damaged. It will work with the Pulsar ET but I'm not sure how many others it will work with as most E16/E15 use a traditional EI distributor with vacuum advance
It is likely the second source (mitsu sourced) of the Hitachi D4P Distributor. Take a look at the photos listed there
