The Magna waterpump, changed plenty of those over the years for victims they are massive monsters Neil prob more suitable for irrigating a farm :)
Reubs, great to know you found out it was a spacer for the A pulley! When I saw a pic of your pulley didnt see any gap there or spacing so couldnt make that guess at all.
Not clued up on modern engines but this Nissan engine uses the waterpump like an idler gear with humble contact surface. Would be good to use something like this then v pulley on crank only needs to run the alternator and air con at most
Since there is almost halve the material of the alloy used lost due to the lip for the sump, then the waterpump housing area can be made with the cavity required for drawing the water from the primary opening to the waterpump cavity area. A Sentra pump below could be made to fit and eliminate an idler making it simple running off the back of the belt. If not the stock pump could have a pulley with a flat surface adapted from something else or maybe made up?
Nissan 2.5L sentra pump seems a nice unit and only 27usd new3 bolt design https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/wREAAOSwFC1dI2MK/s-l1600.jpg https://www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-New-Coo ... -4-Cylinder-/370777909575
