We had quite a lot of trouble with the NISMO (or Nissan Competition) lifters failing in the 80s and 90s. Now, most A series racers in the US use lifters made from tool steel. Now, no cam failures. Reliability is very good! Many shops sell these for about $250 - $300 USD per set.
