LTR, do I have this right?
The head will be supplied "as cast".
It will need -
All mating surfaces machined.
Ports given a final touch up to get rid of any casting marks.
Valve guide holes drilled and guides fitted.
Valve seat locations machined and seats fitted.
Valve spring seats machined.
Oil feed gallery drilled.
Rocker shaft pedestal mounting holes drilled & tapped.
Spark plug holes drilled & tapped.
All manifold mounting holes drilled and tapped.
Thermostat housing mounting holes and any bracket mounting holes drilled and tapped.
Water temp sender location drilled & tapped.
Have I missed anything?
And you said you have the rocker setup available to use as a model, are you able to get someone to draw it up in CAD and send the file over? That sort of stuff may be easier to get made locally if all the specs are made available.
