For Sale: 1200 Sedan to suit rebuild/project

Subject: For Sale: 1200 Sedan to suit rebuild/project

Hi all

Thought it was about time that I put my sedan up for sale. I've had it sitting in storage for the last couple of years but will probably never get round to using it.
Car is currently an incomplete rolling shell, but it have pretty much everything to make it complete again.

The shell itself is very solid, any of the rust that was in the shell was fixed up when i first got the car 5 or 6 years ago, some of the rust repairs could be redone a little bit neater and the sills could probably be replaced with some that are a little thicker as they were just the cheap ebay sills that turned out to be quite thin.

Lots of paint and fish oil was sprayed around inside all the hard to reach/common to rust places when I first got it and it seems to have worked pretty well so far. No rust under the dash where you would normally see it, floors are all good, all chassis rails are rust free.

Car has previously has an L series and a CA in it, so has larger tunnel, mounting for hydro clutch setup behind the dash, radiator support opened up for more air flow. The top of the radiator support has also been made removable (which I no longer like) but I have another top radiator support panel to replace it. Battery support panel has been cut out and battery relocated to the boot.
Has gearbox mounts to suit a 180b gearbox cross member welded into the floor, and cross member to suit. It was used for both CA and L series.

Most of the bolt-on panels on the car, minus the rear doors and drivers guard, are pretty bad. But I have a good pretty much rust free boot(minor surface rust on inside seam) and a good bonnet that just has surface rust(minor from sitting in bare metal for a short time). Also have a passengers side guard that could be salvageable. Both front doors are pretty much rooted and only on there to keep the weather out (used the originals on the wagon)
Both rear doors are pretty good, just need a bit of work around the rust repair patches as I only ever welded new metal in, I never got around to making it look good.

Interior is pretty much empty. Has a good headlining with only 1 small rip up near the passengers sun visor. Has rear seats that are unripped/uncracked but were once red and have been vinyl dyed black. Also have a set of immaculate red door trims.

Has both a standard fuel tank and one modified for an intake pump, setup is complete minus the pump.
Also has 8mm feed and return lines
Has most of a tramp rod setup for the rear end with U bolts and plates to suit an r31 diff (no r31 diff though)
Has a 2.5 inch stainless exhaust with it

Still have the a12 that it originally came with, and enough parts to most likely make it run again (hasn’t been together and running since I first got the car registered several years ago)

Also have a spare sedan that can go with it if someone wants it, or it can be cut up and what ever parts are needed can be taken, doesn’t bother me.

Although the car is incomplete I have 5 cars worth of spare parts so should be able to throw in pretty much everything to make it complete again, apart from good front doors.

Car is located a half hour from Geelong

I would like to get around $1000 as it is a really good shell will come with a lot of parts.
In no real rush to get rid of it but I think it’s a bit of a shame that it just sits there doing nothing, and would much rather it go to someone that it is actually going to do something with it.

Best way to contact me would be either by phone on 0438023584 or by email to nicktaylor159@gmail.com.
