SOLD. New owner taking her back to VIC where she came from. Goodbye datsun, gonna miss you
Well I've decided after my Datsun sat for years to let it go to someone who will enjoy it. I've had so much fun driving this car and all the modification work and learning from this site has been a fantastic experience. I would like to get all I can for it though, so don't be offended if I don't accept a price.
It is on historic plates, was put on them only 2 years ago.
Look at my pictures for pics of the car (click next to my name - when looking at one of my pics already,, see below), I will get some more sexy photos of it soon as I will be putting it up for sale in multiple places.
'73 1200 Coupe factory orange paint (bonnet is matte black non genuine) worked a15 engine with heavily ported head and larger valves and pistons oil cooler using sandwich plate, extra sensors used by means of a remote block for oil pressure factory dash (with cracks), additional digital oil temp, pressure guages and digital tacho elec decent fuel pump in rear, fuel pressure adjuster in engine bay. Elec fuel pump will STOP when there is no oil pressure (DIY circuit) electronic distributor, modified by Jeff Taylor (the datsun god) out in St Marys (re-graphed) also have a intake manifold gasket (made of soft metal-like material) from Jeff Taylor (will last a long time) 63a gearbox with factory A series housing, dogleg rally box, with genuine gearstick top showing the dogleg pattern MadDat gearbox mount clutch changed to hydralic with use of MadDat mounting plate in the engine bay, on firewall custom modified tailshaft from a bluebird (fits the 63a box to a standard 145 rear axle) 4-1 headers ceramic coated and newly heatwrapped as well. 2" system with flexible flange, O2 sensor, long hotdog + sports muffler new/refurb 38 DGAS carb (needs tuning but it purrs like a kitten and revs like a lion at idle) car starts very easily even after sitting for a long time, electronic choke stanza struts with the big calipers, adjustable strut tops, good quality strut brace all replaced front end suspension incl 120Y rods, heavier sway bar, polyurethane all round new front suspension shocks in-box to be installed rear adjustable koni's, standard leaf springs, rear drum brakes were fully serviced/replaced about 200KM ago 14" old school rally rims (were gold, still quite gold) (one of them has a very slow leak, needs to be welded shut) mudflaps towbar body has kept all original dings from the original owner (nice old lady who lived in Wangaratta). Most of the factory body trim is still in-tact including the boot lining. factory seats still in decent condition seatbelts were installed when I got the car, nothing special front drivers seat is from a Madza, much sportier and bucket-ier than factory, adjustable. extra rear brake light bar (has fallen off the windscreen just needs to be mounted back on there) headlights upgrade to 100W halogen with relays parker light upgrade with bright LED's random LED upgrades around the car as well, I cant remember them all eg festoon lamp, some external too indicator stick factory upgrade with the flasher button (flash high beams at bad drivers or in emergency) upgraded speakers with tweeters, amplifier under front passenger seat, you can connect your phone up and play tunes factory radio voltmeter + temp LED display placed over the top of the factory radio factory orange paint, with paint code sticker still in-tact in the engine bay large radiator made to fit, partly covered as its too efficient in winter :) electric fan with temeperature sensor fed into the water inlet on the head

I am open to offers of above 10K AUD. The car is in Middle Cove NSW, 2068. Feel free to hate me about the price, sorry!
Finders fee for anyone who can help me sell for a decent price too.
I am in no rush to sell - I will probably but a fast street car with the money, with enough seats/room for a family.
