Hey, Im a copper in Sydney, AU. We have no quota system, and there is no pressure on us to write tickets whatsoever. I would have written maybe 3 or 4 tickets in that past 6 months, and they were for grossly negligent acts of driving. I certainy wouldn't get promoted for writing more tickets.. maybe for thorough investigation, lots of arrests, quality briefs, but not for writing more tickets.
Think about the trade/profession that you work in. Is everyone working in your industry good at what they do?
jaimecidpedro, good work. If he can't be bothered/organised enough to turn up to court, he shouldn't have written the ticket.
