Yet another racing season has come to an end with a couple of rainouts. Last race was a couple of weekends ago at Renegade in Yakima. Fastest time was an 11.50. Seasons fastest time was 11.31 at Pacific in Kent
Still an in tune process.
Going to run a #9 NGK cold plug instead of the #8. Still getting a little pre detonation before the spark. Also going buy a can of VP C16 fuel and spray that on the nitrous. Contacted VP and that was what they recommended. Fine tuning on the fuel Jets and that's about it for the engine. Picked up a complete stock motor and two extra blocks, cranks and heads so will probably also put together a second motor.
Going to do some electrical work. Switching over to a push button start and switching out for LED lights.
Next year's goal is to runs 10.99 or better. Looking forward to next March 2018.
