More updates, sorry for the late reply but. These are the things you'll need to build your own oil catch can.

•A container. This is awfully broad. You can use almost any appropriate container. Some commercial catch cans are actually 3" silicone hose with two billet aluminum end caps. In my case, I found a "swiss" water bottle. It's very lightweight aluminum, with a special interior coating and a nice sealing top.
•Brass hose connectors for PVC hoses. You'll need two 5/8" hose barbs. Mine were 1/2" threaded on the other side.
•Oil level tube. To make this, you need two 3/16" hose barbs and two male to female elbows to get the barbs oriented correctly. A short length of 3/16" clear hose will allow you to see how much oil has been collected.
•Zip ties or a clamp to attach the can to the car. I ended up just zip-tying my oil catch can in place.
•JB Weld or silicone to seal up the hose barbs..You'll need a fillter at the top.Progress>>>>>>>
