As promised some pichas.

The electroplated parts so far, more has been sent in and will be sent in, but these are the ones I've received back so far.

Painted and part assembled front suspension. I could have fitted the hubs to the struts, but haven't got any more high speed wheel bearing grease left. The ordinary stuff we use for trailers will unfortunately not do in this case...

And last but not least, two of the most important parts that are integral to the look I'm aiming for. The grille is the original stainless steel one(yes stainless steel) as found on the first sedans and bakkies that came out. The grill looks a bit tacky, but it's just faded, they polish up to a mirros shine, and with a bit of paint in the right places they look like a millon rand. The bumper was also only fitted to those very first cars and bakkies, and are very, very scarce. If you find one, just send it to me... The bumper has shorter ends that go around the corner and fit in the impression in the fender, the later ones has a longer end that goes over the impression and will hit the newly acquired wide flares. I'll post some pictures of it next to the one that was on my car so you can see what the difference is.

More parts to be collected from the platers, will also post some pics of the other parts I've finished off.
