must be the H150 120Y diff. I raced my old L18 1200 at supersprints and hillclimbs, all standing start events on dry tarmac with grippy tyres, with 146rwbhp and a BW68. Broke an axle due to axle tramp before sorting the springs to suit the extra power, but never blew the diff. I did years of motokhanas, hillclimbs, dirt autocrosses and other stuff before that with a hot L18 with 116rwbhp - high CR, long rods, ported SSS head, big 76 cam, twin 45s, custom pipes... So an L16 with a weber and extracters shouldn't be blowing 2 BW68s in 12 months from a little bit of wet skidpan work! But it would blow H150s pretty easily.
Going heavier than you need with diffs (like a H190 or Hilux diff behind an L16!) is just adding weight and making you slower. If you have to change an axle once every few years of competition, I wouldn't say it warrants upgrading, just annual inspections.
