Lol I don't have a garage, all you need is screwdriver set, socket set, spanners, jack, axle stands to do most stuff, rust fixes I get by with angle grinder, portable work bench and recently a 2nd hand mig.
Other bonus tools are trolley jack, extra axle stands, brake line spanners, vice grips and adjustable wrenches.
