Be interesting to see what engine you eventually end up using XD
The fuel filler in the door jamb shouldn't be fumy if you use a sealed cap and run the tank breather line under the car somewhere like the early model utes and chuck a fuel filter on the end of it to keep it from breathing crap into the tank.
