This was a huge problem. Spammers were putting advertisements in News, in photo album comments, and sometimes in forum comments

The way we mitigated this annoying problem was:

1) Lock News. That's why the front page now says "Please post most types of news in the Meetings or Main forums"

2) Because the spammers were using temporary email accounts, the Web Admins changed the Register process to have a 2-day delay. In that time virtually 100% of the spammers had forgotten or could no longer access the email and so couldn't finish the signup for the Club

The latter solved the problem, however it had the unintended consequence of delaying or preventing new user from joining -- if the Admins were too busy to check frequently to see how signups were going. Periodically the process failed and no new users were added

When you use the newest browser updates and enter 'datsun1200.com', the browser give you this message:

Workaround: instead of 'datsun1200.com', type the full protocol path: 'http://datsun1200.com'

OR

Use your browser search for 'Datsun 1200 Club' and click the link that comes up in the search results

It is difficult to make anyone happy when most of the populous
is locked down under Draconian laws that dont apply to the ones
running around in groups of 20 and more in close contact installing
the next system that will be the IOT against the will of the people.

I would love to say the most positive thing and make people laugh
in these hard times for my fellow men. However I will make this my
challenge even though I will be now limited in how its done.

For example this video made my parents and friends very happy
as it supports people in general that feel so negative about the
current circumstances which are obviously a crime on citizens.

If someoneone doesnt like it, it is a shame as this Doctor
for the NY ICU is sacrificing his career and he only cares
for the human race nothing else. eg. what is your opinion?

Mr Branco the media does not show the people who have been
looking after people for decades like my sister who is now
trapped in a small Milan apartment when all she wanted to do
was follow the procedure as was taught to her professionally.

Some of us here are professionals in many different fields
and some of us arent but together more can be achieved.
It is not the best time to be patient I understand but at
the same time it is what we can achieve together with views
that are not suppressed in a short time that could also bring
the best in us all if we care to share for the long run.

Off topic wont rule this site and never will but atm some need
to show what is happening and the truth can be stranger than
the usual fiction we are usually inundated with.

Does any other forum or web site do this? eBay comes to mind being both categorized and searchable. Since we only have about 15/week classifieds (2/day) would it really help? It's already searchable
