Nice and tidy! Be sure to keep an eye on that plastic piping on the exhaust side.

Blood orange coloured a15.

You best book in with Simon for a bit more time so he can tweak it properly, I remember seen this in the past thread of previous owner and surprised he didnt go higher with the boost as it surely has more available.
You probably should source another A14 block to keep withing the rules of engineering so just get and A15 crank, rods, sump and E series pistons made for it A14Force has some good turbo slugs with HPC coating available http://datsun1200.com/userinfo.php?uid=2430 for PM and heres a link to them http://datsun1200.com/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=20418
That way you have the extra 100cc to help with earlier boost.

Project builds:: RUREDI'S - B120 A12 EFI Turbo Build
All sounds excellent and what a base! Sounds so far like you are going for a JDM look maybe with guard mirrors? with lots of chrome period finishings instead of the butch and character killing "american hotrod" or ADM look?.
Going A series & T50 box keeps it all lightweight as Dattos should be.

Drip rails and tonneu hooks removed
<del>Tail gate hooks removed </del> - these ad character giving it a period feel but its your choice of course, removing drip rails will would be enough.
Flute/Vents shaved - could add custom stainless ones available even "gramps" motif would look good :)
Rear corner bumpers shaved - Custom Stainless bumperettes & chrome front bumper would be a good number
Passenger door lock Shaved - clean without going oveboard chrome door handles are great & chrome grille will also add alot of period character
Guards flared about 1" - perfect unless you could get Stainless bolt on flares for those wider & inch JDM wheels.
GX Bonnet
Hard Top Lid
Front Lip
<del>Colour Change Paint Job</del> - +1 on keep the yellow your GrandDad chose it & should be sentimental value but thats just thinking out loud as there arent many of this humble looking pastel yellow anymore. Engine bay is fine in black makes it easier for touch ups and makes engine & manifolding stand out.

Youd save money and hassles not re-painting it then you can re-direct funds towards other goodies like better quality turbo with twin ball bearings from Turbonetics (top guys) and maybe even composite leafs (if details sorted) or even alloy quick change winters rear end.

Project builds:: AusSanitora's Sunny Truck Build
So I ordered some more goodies for the ute today, have been hunting around for some decent carbs as well. From a quick search its around the $1300 mark for a rebuilt setup of twin 40 Webers with manifold, gasket and linkages. If anyone has some they want to get rid of give me a yell.

List of goodies on their way:

- Woodgrain Nardi Classic with Black spokes
- Cusco Strut Brace
- Various new rubbers for the engine bay
- Sunny 'S' Mark Grille emblem to suit my new grill (Most Speno' bit of plastic I have ever bought I reckon!)
- Original style 'Sunny' rear gate sticker
- New engine slinger hook for the A12 as mine is bent to fark!
- 13 x 7j +0 offset SSR Starsharks/Colins off of Leith on here.

Also I had a parcel arrive from PNG today so I was pretty stoked to open it and check out the JDM weather shields I ordered from Clyons8, a massive thanks goes out to him as they are very well put together and will suit the ute perfectly! Can't wait to fit them up and have a look. Here is a quick pic.
