main reason for the BMW conrod idea is then i'll effectively have increased engine capacity to about 1700cc, not bad for a 1200 :)
then, the injection will leave the boost option open for a super/turbo charging later once any teething problems have been eradicated. maybe instead of people telling me to learn more about datsun's, they should learn more about cars in general...just an idea :)

about to get seriously creative and was wondering if there was anyone out there as mentally unstable as i am to about to try something like this:
my lil' '68 b10 4dr sedan..... front disc brakes(haven't decided what yet) a12 engine... BMW conrods and some other internals(which type i gotta find out, haven't seen my shopping list for this yet) 2.6l mitsu. magna injection setup and plenum.... mounted to modified twin webber lynx manifold or similar.etc. etc. gonna be a bit of fun. will update this once i get this shopping list from my engine builder.. gearbox(dunno yet) hilux diff or a chopped down borg warner of some description(again, dunno yet) tee-hee fun n' games :)

hooray, hooray...
to the dragway, today :) mmmmmmmmm-mmmm i can already smell the rubber and high octane fuel. the sound of top fuelers pounding the air making your eardrums wanna split.. your nose tingles with the fumes.. the earth shakes, as thousands of ponies worth of power hurtle down a quarter-mile of tarmac... aaaahhh - the serenity

crawl underneath with a torch and check out all your steering ball joints for wear.also check out all your other bushes...gotta replace them sooner or later...best to do it in one go..if one bit is gone quite often the rest of them are on their way out too so check all steering linkages, ball joints and bushes...get some eurethane bushes..newer type(teflon coated-no grease nipples)sealed ball joints, tie rod ends etc. .........and enjoy
