it also comes down to weather you can paint it your self? do you have the skills and equipment? The equipment you can hire but the skills come with practice and advice from those in the know. Besides its always good to practice on a ford or something that way if you stuff it up it doesnt matter.

which is a bore of how many thou?

Just wondering whats the max size bore you can do to an A14 and what would be an advisable size to do?. As pisons 1,2 & 3,4 dont have a huge amount of room between them.

An A14 running high 14s down the 1/4 is surely not that out of reach. it may take a few mods but it would be posible

Your filter on your oil pick up isnt blocked is it? thats about all i could think of but i would doubt it is just a coincedence.
