Utes are still for anything between $2000 and $5000 however 1200 Sedans and coupes are fairly cheap cause theres not many in that good a condition. I got a brilliant buy, 4 door 1200 stock as and almost mint condition for 100 bucks off an old russian guy in melbourne.
Now thats my type of pricing.

I was gonna build up an A14 but it looks like a cheaper option is to buy a CA18-DET. So if anyone is planning on selling one with or without gearbox but in working order over the next month or two let me know, I may be interested. Cheers

I can't belive the prices of Dattos in the eastern states. i was just looking through the trader theres hardly anything under $2000. I quess ive just been living in South Australia too long that ive gotten use to the low prices. Anywayz just thought id share that with anyone who cares.

my first was a 1200 with an A15 however it wasnt till i sold it that i was told it had the A15. went througha few other cars then decided nothings better than a datto. since then ive had 2 1200 coupes and currently have a 4 door sedan in original condition. did have a CA18det to put in it but ran into finacial trouble and had to sell it. im now about to rebuild an A14.
