B210/120Y had four clocks

* Square, compact
* Square, large
* Round, compact
* Round, large

Large 3-needle type and small 2-needle type. There are two types: square and round. The design is also stylish.

another early LZ head at auction. Did not sell at 450,000 yen (4,600 aud or 3,000 usd)
https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h1102527288

Might be the same head as sold a year ago last January for 485,000

Quote:
Davie: What was auctioned was an early LZ14 head from around 1973, PB110 era, there's less than ten operational world wide. It was a bare head, and the price was kinda reasonable, but to recommission it would cost lots, no valves valve springs cams and more importantly cam buckets.

Auction ended 26 August 2023

Sunny Excellent TS Racing LZ14 cylinder head.

I don't know if those are new yet-to-be-used valve seats installed, but i'm surprised it looks to be just a one-angle type and not blended into the ports very well. Even a stock A12 has three-angle valve seats

The beauty of these head are not that they are just twin-cam, but more that they are 16-valve heads. A junkyard KA24DE would be more powerful perhaps, but this is period cool

Nice. Price is OK at 9000 yen (93 AUD or 60 USD)

https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/j1101944751

These are definitely for the B210. Fitted to GX and Coupe dash, or to the long console. Listing says they are "warehouse sorting items", so perhaps they are new old stock. Some corrosion but i think they would clean up well

24845-H5500 METER ASS'Y-ampere
24870-H5500 GAUGE ASS'Y-oil pressure
08510-51242 SCREW-Tapping screw, Pan head 5x12mm 4

These were in the
* Dash for Sedan GX
* Dash for Coupe
* stock in the long console for Excellent GL
* Genuine Option Parts catalog for the long console

The oil pressure gauge uses a 240Z-style pressure sender out at the engine

To fit the console, make up a bracket. Here's the factory bracket:

Here it is with the magnetic seat belt holder

I always thought it was wood grain, but the closeup photos look like brown.
The catalog lists:
* Black
* Brown
* Wood grain

Theoretically the largest Nisan gasoline modern L4 that could challenge
any Honda 2.7L race engine and be cheaper to setup.

Nissan YD25DDti Diesel block (QR25DE architecture)
YD25ddti is pushing over 400hp in some trucks

90.5mm-92mm over bore for 2.7 or 2.8L

Toyota 1 AR-FE crankshaft 105mm factory stroke
(Pappakis Racing used this stock crank for 1000hp with boost in world drift winning yaris.)

Nissan QR25DE ported head for boost could make over 1000hp

Ill take an L18 K24DE hybrid over that any day as it needs double the legal tender
to get the rest to make it work and then only make less than the better later head.
The looks of the KA24DE is still period and Les Collins ported heads have more flow
than any sr16/20ve modified head and closer to the qr25de heads.

Great to keep record of these treasured bits DD and they are really for the serious
enthusiast even a great investment for hyperinflation just like art.

On a closer look, it might just be a 120Y long console. Could be the angle of the photo. See that images at Re: B210 LARGE console

Open in new window

In japan there were three colors, black satin, brown, and "popular tea" wood grain, so maybe that's what this KB10 has

That KA24DE head might technically be the equal -- both are 16-valve designs -- but the OS Giken TC16 has a more historied past since 1973

There is an OS GIKEN L-series head for sale on Yahoo! now: https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r1124144760

Quote:
OS GIKEN Violet Bluebird Sunny Excellent L-type rare original 4-cylinder race head used junk.

Only 1.5 million yen (10,000 USD). Can it be rebuilt?
