i got myself a datto ute about a year ago. slowly rebuilding it, very slowly atm. i have got all the rear ute panels and all that. i still need to find a rear beaver panel if anyone knows where i can find one of these in adelaide? anyway. ive bought myself a series 3 rx7 with a 13b rotary. just wondering if anyone on here knows what i can use off the rx7 and modify it to fit onto my ute? such as brakes, suspension, diff, pretty much anything that will fit. im thinking i really want to start getting it finished so i can drive it. sick of it sitting in the shed and not being able to drive it. maybe if i start talking to some people about it on here it might motivate me to start doin some more work on it. thanks :)

the gaurds are fairly good condition. i think they may have a tiny spot of rust at the botton just behind the wheel arch. the right hand one has a small dent in, but nothing bad, will pop out easy. i tried puttin some pics up of my car but it wouldnt work for me? but if u have an email or something i will take some pics 2moro for ya and send them to ya?

hmmm. gotta have a think about this. if im gana do all the messing around doin the converion, i might just wait and go something bigger. but for now i really want better struts and brakes??? i dont know what will bolt in? anyone else know if anything bolts in easy? hopefully goin to pick up most of my parts 2moro:) decided to replace every single panel on my ute except radiator support and where the tail lights bolt in. goin to pick everything up except my new doors arent in yet.

what about any other datsun motor that will go in thats bigger than the 12a but not too much messing around to do it?

thanks heaps for ya help guys.

ok thanks heaps

i was thinking about goin with a 12a rotary non turbo. do use kno what would be the biggest brakes and struts that would fit easiest into my 1200 ute? i want to do the brakes and suspension even if i dont do the engine upgrade at the moment coz it will be done eventually. but i might do the upgrade now if i can do it easy enough. thanks for your help
