Yeah I have looked in the registry, not too many in there anyway.
Oh well, you never know.

Yeah I'm not holding my breath but hopefully someone knows where it went.
I still have all of the receipts for every cent I spent on it, and heaps from the two owners before me too.
It was the first car that got me into modifying cars, so i guess you could say it was my "first", although in truth this was my third car.
I have a feeling it was sold to a couple of guys who were part of RMIT car club, so I think it may have become a rally car.

I still regret the day I got rid of my 1200 Coupe, and I am now in a position to try and track it down.
So if anyone knows of it's whereabouts it would be greatly appreciated.
We parted ways in the year 2001 (or there abouts) down here in sunny Melbourne.
It was sold off as a rolling shell, no driveline but with a complete interior.
It is a 1970 model, chassis number B110849775.
When we last saw each other it was white.
Below are a couple of pictures of what it looked like, so if anyone has any info please let me know as I would dearly love to see it again.

1200 Sunny Excellent
Never seen this variation before.
Looks like it has an L14 as standard.
Also very interesting front and rear light details.

I would be checking the power wire to the distributor.
I had the clip on mine come loose and would misfire under similar conditions.

Dodgeman, thanks for the welcome, yes I am new to this forum.
I owned a 1200 coupe about 7 years ago, that I put a bit of work into, A14 oval port with 32/36 weber, extraxtors, Stanza front end and 240K brakes.
To this day I still regret getting rid of that car, as we had some great times together, and I learnt a lot with her.
But anyway, now that I am a couple of Datsun down the line now (Stanza and GTi-R) I would like the old days back.
I guess I will start talking to a few import brokers and start running the numbers.
