I'm in desperate need of some fenders for my datsun 1200 coupe. I want to drive car once im done with my sr20de s14 swap. I'm upset because fenders are in really bad shape. I also drilled that lower apron valance off because it was so banged up. I kinda think i screwed myself. www.ebay.com.au has the parts i need but local pickup only and not NOS parts .. i heard the ones from aus wont fit perfect and also get banged up if you do find someone to ship them out. I'm even considering buying a whole other car just to get some clean parts.

i got to say that is a nice looking datsun !!! yeh and whats cooler is he tows it with a new nissan titan. those are really nice shots. my car has alot of pics taken also but none like those .. you can see his facial exspression.. damn !!

lol !! considering he paid 1200 for car and 1000 to get it shipped to NY from Cali! so 2200 he sent on just the rolling shell and who knows how much more for the back half wheels and engine ! aint my cup of tea with that v8 in it though!

naw no speedo .. ima hook up a autometer that you tap into the speed sensor wire .. i dont need it for ecu to work properly .. but anyways i need to find a tach that will work actually !

afracer .. i basically finished my sr20det project in my datsun 1200 coupe LHD! fits in perfect .. i wish i would have set it back more and cut out firwall. but oh well! here are pics! ask me some questions if you like. .. i have the tilton brake setup inside car .. so i dont have that heating problem!

im going to thunderhill .. i have to be there wens night .. the 13th i believe for tech on my 71 datsun 1200 sr 20det powere car. then thunderhill all day thurs.. then fri sat and sun is shasta so yeh .. see 1200 lovers there i guess!

ok that car was located in Manteca, California! yes thats why it has cali plates. I Built that car with a friend similar to my green one i have. ka24e 12 valve with 45 sidedrafts, wagon rear end, 280zx traney, traction bars.. blah blah! well it was really nice. well he was a POS BUM and didnt wana hold a job so he parted it out .. selling the whole complete engine swap and selling the rolling shell to a guy in NY .. just to pay rent. so basically that was the last time i helped anyone do a car buildup.. he sold it without even asking me if i wanted it or whatever .. alot of blood was spilt in that car .. lol busted knuckles evertything!

I have a roadster rear end and a 200sx rear end. i would have to modify the 200sx because it uses a spring and lader setup i believe but i know it would be worth it .. see the older 200sx axel is not as wide as the new ones i think .. i will figure it out i wana stay away from a huge drag project.. with biggger slicks and stronger rear end i wont need to tub or even mini tub yet. this ka24de is maybee pushing 190 to the fly. my build one is pushing 300 to the flywheel. Built similar to the nissan offroad truck ka24de project with weber induction. I also forgot to mention i do have traction bars under this 1200 .. when i jack up car from pumpkin , right when rear end is lifted the body lifts as well .. really stiff in back. i think i need to make it sink a bit on the launch .. i dont know .. thank for all your guys input. i will keep u posted on the project and i will submit some photos.. and btw the axles were out of the vehicle when i welded the spider gears.. and i have broke 7 axels in 2 years.
