EVERYBODY who says utes arent the best is clearly wrong. and thats the end of that discussion. As for buying a ute and looking at it... that is also wrong. Here is a much better solution, buy a ute if you dont like it give it to me for the princely sum of $1 and ill send you monthly photos and school reports.

WHATS NOT TO LOVE? the utes are (speaking complete unbiased) the best model 1200. look for rust in all the usual places and also on the inside and outside where the tray joins to the cab. Im 6ft and i fit in em fine. sure the first time you get in its a lil uncomfortable but like anything you adapt and get used to it. My name says it all.. its GODA-B-A-UTE!

personally im gonna go black with gold rims... pimpin! but if i had the money id chrome dip the whole car. are you rich? cause id like to see that one day. metallic colours in my opinion didnt suit that era of car so keep it a simple flat colour is what i say. If youre still doing the Jarrah tray a dark blue would go nice similarily with checkplate

nah i didnt get any spares with it but everything i need is there, i have two sets of alloys now but ill probably end up selling em both and put some nice gold ones on.... should go well with the gloss black paintwork i have planned. First on the agenda is fixing up the rust in the chassis rail so ill rip out the enigne on thursday and start getting that rebuilt. from there ill probably go around and start working on removing all the rust and bog from the body (not alot)... btw does anybody know a good panelbeater who does "cash jobs"? from there ill move on to the interior beautification and possibly chuck in a 5spd, once its all painted ill chuck the motor, interior, etc in and take it for a cruise.

finally i have found a 1200 ute worth buying.... at the right price too! $1400 with an A15 and in not too bad condition. ofcourse it will undergo a complete rust removal and respray etc etc etc. left hand side chassis rail is all rust but i got a mate who is a bodybuilder so hes gonna press me a new one and weld it in for me. anyway ill take some photos when i pick it up and try to post em up so we can all decide what i spend my hard earned money on first
