If you can source the 4:11 diff out of a wagon or ute then that might be a good option for you. I know of a mate of mine running a CA18DE on the 4:11 diff and he was fine for ages until he sold it and the guy who bought it wrote it off

Hi, check out this website http://www.scottsoldautorubber.com.au ... 0-85%201200%20Utility.htm
they sell repair panels for front guards or you can always source some panels from a wrecking vehicle. There was a recent post on replacing trays will be on page 2 or 3 of the main forum topics. Just remember nothing cant be fixed its just cost thats the problem.

well that answers that question. i think ill give it a go and as you said the transfer into a lighter car may reduce "breakages". If it doesnt work atleast i know ill have the room to stick in the S13 5spd cheers guys

Hi, does anyone know if the SR20 S15 gearbox is anything like the SR20 S13/14 gearbox? besides being a 6M. what i basically need to know is can i change the bellhousing etc as one would do to an S13/14 gearbox to squeeze it into their mighty 1200.

It fits. I did a conversion in my old ute it was 1972 and a series 2 bluebird diff fitted staight in with no mods at all. and i think youll find that alot of the utes going around have had the diff changed by previous owners anyway. all mine have. worth just having a look first before just assuming.
