In comparison, old Datsuns to Mopars..there is really no comparison.Mopar is all about factory musclecars n style in steel n chrome,Datsun was really only about transporting the general public in flimsy panels with plastic interiors..err musclecars....? sorry

yes thats fine m8 as the nplates aren't shown...It would never be allowed on the street here.no matter how much engineering.but please lets not talk about that2much...., wish me luck cos at the moment it is my daily driver.(touch wood)...would have to be sold as burnout, hillclimb car only. of course.
she sure does surprise some unsuspecting people.

i would really like to see someone do this conversion professionally...ie;engineered.good brakes, struts,bw rearend.etc.I built this car on a shoestring, not wanting to throw away too much $ on it.
done properly,it would be a fantastic car.reliable, super cheap to run.....and is a total wolf in sheep's clothing.

it pushes into corners a little, but with the manual gbox it is pretty good on tight windy roads, just click 4th and leave it alone,it will pull hard from a near stop as if in 2nd gear.all up 800kgs?still...stanza front end,it's a handful.

a V6and 5speed in a 1200ute?....sure works well i reckon.needs no boost,no lag and no sneezy blowoff valve noises to give it away.launching from 3rd gear.

dunno about falling in love, never seen so much rust in such a small car!...but,i could not say no to a little 1200ute with a 3800v6,5speed and locker after seeing it reverse out and go !st,2nd,3rd,4th,and into 5th on the limiter on the spot.power to weight, unbeatable.
but,my heart also really is with a big block Plymouth Duster.
