Best bet would be adaptor plate. However i hav heard of people taking rims from Holden Geminis and putting them on 1200's whether or not the offset is the same im unsure.
You should have no problem gettin a good adaptor plate. Or you could get your rims made to suit. They can do it. its just a matter of finding out who can do it.

Check fuse box, u will find a 10A fuse.... its most likely blown.
this box is located just to the right of the steering column under dash.

As a rough guess you're probably lookin around the $400-600 range for a new one... u may be able to get your one reco'd if its not burnt out inside, and also depending on the cost of parts. id imagine you would be looking around 300 to recondition your one.

dont quote me on that, im not 100% sure

well theres nothin wrong with fitting a factory tacho. If you can find one. Ive tried calling several wrecking yards. but all they seem to have is the clocks. so i figure an aftermarket one is the way to go.

JuniorJay, that doesnt sound too bad actually. Ill give that a go. I know the local spare parts place has a 2 and 3/4" inch one. I might go with that. If anyone has any Photos of Tacho setups it would be muchly appreciated.
Cheers
