Howdy,
The Race is tomorrow . . . . . . .
I could start a build thread if you guys want me to?
I have hundreds of pics of the build.

I have to reduce the size of the pictures by 70% to up load them so the quality is not so good.

Can some one let me know what is expected on a build thread as it would be nice to present something people want to read and see.

Thanks
Geoff

Howdy,

It all depends on what style of glass kit you are after.

ALFA fiberglass in Victoria do all sorts of Datsun kits from mild to wild.

This is there "Sports Sedan" style stuff

Cheers.

Howdy,

I have a Coupe body shell and was just wondering about its history.

Is there a data base anywhere that I can use to trace build dates and specifications from the Chassis number?

All I have to go on is:

B110-558174

any help tracing any information would be appreciated.

Thanks

Geoff

Thanks for the feed back.

i'm running 15" wheels so the wheel diameter will be different to standard. i'm in the process of fitting IRS and wanted to get the heights of the wheel hubs right, so if anyone knows the standard brow to axle center line it would be way helpful.

thanks

Geoff

My 1200 coupe sports sedan that is under construction
is getting a F20C power plant, six speed gear box and a IRS
rear with R200 centre.

Should be a bit of fun once finished

Howdy,

I'm wondering what the standard ride height for a 1200 coupe is?

The cops normally use the distance from the mudguard brow to the centre on the axle line as there measuring point.

Anyone know what it should be front and rear on a coupe

Cheers

"I dont really know anybody though"

The best way to get in the know,
is to come out on sunday, find a Datsun
you like the look of and introduce your self
to the owner / driver.

Every one is always happy to chat. . . . . . .
specially about there Datsun.

Cheers

My 2 cents worth.

Join the Nissan Datsun car club of SA = $50 / year
It is a CAMS affiliated club and is full of Datto People

This will allow you to get a CAMS LS2 licence = $115 / year

Joint the Marques sports car association of SA = $20 / year

Put all this together and you can enter Circuit sprints at Mallala
and Hillclimbs at Collingrove.

There is a MSCA circuit sprint on the 24/08/14 (this sunday)
It's free to watch and you can have a chat with people and see what it is all about.

Cheers,

Geoff
