Just wondering roughly how much they would charge for a conversion?
And what would be the cheaper way, One place doing it all, or throwing it out to several smaller places?...

Cheers for the info so far guys!!
Please keep it coming if you have something that pops to mind no matter how small!!

Just curious if anyone has a list of engineers or wheres a place to look. Trying to navigate the DPI website is like looking for hay in a needle stack! The pain of failure just keeps coming and coming!!

Thanks again :)

Hey guys,
Looking for people with knowledge in perth laws, Hear a few of you are gettin kicked a bit whilst your down so wouldnt mind hearin what they are saying!!

very seriously looking at purchasing a ca18det ute from over east in december when i head over there and get it freighted back.
Im wondering: How hard is it to register?
Ive heard different opinions that if its been engineered over there it doesnt matter and u need it reengineered here, whilst others say the engineers cert. is aus wide so shouldnt matter, which is what i thought.

Diffage? Can it be locked or will i need a LSD here?

Freightage? Cheapest i can find is bout $1300 wich im cool with or does anyone know something better?

Any other info, doesnt matter how small that u think im probly overlooking and should need to know!!

Cheers for the help guys! :)

Cheers for the offers and such guys!!
Ive just got the official nod for the trip over east so will be hitting up Canberra, Goulburn and Sydney around the chrissy period to see family.
20th of Dec is the fly in date to Canberra and will be around till Summernats and possibly a little after till maybe the 10th or so.

Hopefully whilst im over that side i can get around and possibly up to QLD for a couple days and see a couple of the utes u guys have over that way if they arent sold yet. *Fingers crossed* and if something tickles my fancy ill grab it!!
Just thinkn id like to see something first hand rather then photos because photos never do justice!
Cheers guys and hopefully if you havent sold ill give you a hit up whilst im over there.

Hey guys,
Want a 1200 ute with a CA18det in it?!
Im in WA but if you have a nice ute on the other side of Oz and can convince me that its a quality build and reliable then i would be more then willing to Freight it over.

Let me know whats selling out the people! :) Cheers
