Ive got a Sunny Coupe sitting in a yard here in Adelaide that I need to off load urgently this week. Its nothing special, it isnt complete, has no motor or box, someone started turning it into a race car and the paint is dodgy in parts but it doesnt seem to be full of rust, there is some in the doors, but nothing major. I dont want to send it to Sims metal. Give us a call on 0418 224 470. Asking $400 for it. The car is located in Mt Barker

Nearly a complete coupe interior (average condition)
Complete rear diff (unknown condition)

I have your basically the same fuel setup in my rally car, except i still have the standard mechanical fuel pump and i have no issues at all, except i have a slight mod to my carbs. I have a vent in the top plate that goes to a small filter and also have foam filled the top area above the floats to stop fuel spilling into the top of the jets.
On the offroad buggy, we use to add a small tube to the top of the jets and basically make a small raiser to the the little cover so that fuel couldnt spill into the jets.
Found that once fuel spilt down the tops, it would start spluttering, so this could be your problem.

Sorry, i dont have any photos with me, next time im back home in SA, ill grab a couple.

when we used the camira gear, we used a weber manifold, and had some injector bosses welded into it, then made a plenum, i think we used a SR throttle body from memory.

If you allready have a donor car, then really the only costs are getting a manifold sorted out, throttle cable and surge tank/efi pump setup.

You shouldnt have any problems using the complete Nissan EFI setup, hardest part is making a manifold, but thats not to hard, we used a standard datsun inlet manifold and cut and shut that to suit the Nissan plenum chamber.
Ive currently got a 1600cc daihatsu charade setup on my road 1200 without any problems, We also used a Camira setup on the old sunny rally car.
