CA18DET problems

Ok, so I had a t28 turbo fitted to my ca18det and it now doesn't want to rev anywhere. It's super laggy, but way worse than I thought it would be with a bigger turbo, and when it hits around 5000RPM it doesn't go anywhere, hesitates like mad and the car gets all jerky and stuff. Fuel pressure should be fine, i have a new fuel pump, and pressure gauge reads ok.
Spark might be blowing out still? plugs are gapped fairly small (i think 0.7mm from memory). Do i HAVE to get a tune to run a t28?

it's not that higher compression spools the turbo faster, it's that the engine is more responsive off boost

In ebay search for "t2", "t25", or "t28". Then if you go to used items and local only it thins out the 10,000 search returns to something a lot more reasonable.

I think it is a 6" or 6.5" rim. Either way I usually fit 195 or 205 width, and could squeeze 215 probably. Height depending on what's available. If you have anything in that size?
Cheers
