So my block mounts on the chassis are threaded, where the rear mount bolts up to. Can I tap these out to M10? It is a pretty enclosed space so I can't really see much thats going on. CHeers

I have a loud squealing coming from my ca18det, i thought it would be the timing belt being a bit slack so i tightened up the eccentric shaft and applied some silicon spray for good measure but didn't do a thing. still the same noise increasing with revs. the other thing i could think of was that maybe the bearings are gone in on of the accessories. Should i get some proper belt spray? i can't soap it up cos of the cover, that and it is toothed.

could it be the air fuel mix is different for each chamber. in this scenario maybe the middle two ports recieve a majority of the flow, but not sure whether it affects AF ratios in any way. fuel (petrol) is more heavy, and due to inertia is perhaps less likely to change direction in an intake manifold, heading straight into the middle two ports?

you might be better off keeping them. second hand 17s aren't worth as much as you would hope for these days, unless they are something rare or jap

There's plenty of cheap steel wheels with good offsets but in the wrong stud pattern, is it possible redrill them? I assume they come blank from the factory and are drilled after being pressed, so could maybe be drilled again. not sure if they have a flat face where they mount to the hub like alloys or are located otherwise.
