Sorry to see you sell it squeezer! I still got my sunny truck and a baby. Keep it man. It's one of the cleanest sunny trucks I've seen in Australia or Japan. whoever gets it from you is stealing it at that price.

Thanks, hoping to paint the block and rocker cover on wed(trying to match a series blue), just got a bucket full parts from the platers(engine bolts and bits). I just hope Terry likes it.

Dr dick has been a very busy man, spending one week alone on the rhr quarter!

while Dr dick has been toiling away, I took the mighty A12 to Wynumn engine reconditioning to get all the machine work done. Bored, honed and decked block, machined crank, resized rods, installed new cam bearings, refaced followers, hot tanked block, head, rocker cover and sump, cam reground (standard),new pistons installed onto rods, 2 small welds on head, 8 new valve seats(old ones were brass?),4 new exhaust valves, reface head, refaced valves and seats. Dr Mark linished rocker shaft and refaced rockers.
when all this came back, it was re-assembely time. First up a quick re-measure of everything(all OK). Then wash and clean the block, then do it again. Then it gets some protective lube! While this was happening I disassembled the valve train and gave the head a wetblast, then a cleanout and then a reclean.
Dr Mark prepares to assemble. Only had to adjust the thrust surface on the main bearings for correct thrust of the crank.

Dr Mark uses just the right amount of lube on this hole.
