forgive my complete ignorance - but the gearboxes - condition? And is the price each, or for the both of them (sorry I have nfi of the market value at this point in time!)

I'm in melbourne, if the sale hypothetically went ahead, and items were paid for in full, would it be possible to hold on to them for up to approximately a month till I can organise pickup from someone who travels there and back from time to time?

Hi, I'm after a complete (don't need carb, dizzy and exhaust, do need complete bottom end, sump, flywheel, front pulley and head/rockers etc) long motor. Preferably a15, but would consider a14 if the price is reasonable.

After either something running, but not pristine, or suit rebuild (and by suit rebuild, I mean one that is worn out, but hasn't suffered a spun bearing or other damage that might rule out the crank or rods or something).

I'm in Melbourne, but would be up for cash payment/pickup practically anywhere in Victoria, or would also consider interstate stuff, and organise freight (would require scan/fax of sellers drivers licence if I'd be paying for it up front, doing bank deposit).

Feel free to respond here, or

thankyou

forgive my ignorance, but have you test fitted them (albeit without tyres at this point I would imagine) to the car, and if so, what's the offset like? Do they appear to be able to fit something like a 185/60 14 tyre without fouling a lot. I don't mean to suggest I think this is the case, or anything, I'm just curious, because if they are ok in that respect, I'm in Melbourne, and very much interested in them (if the current person indicating interest passes on them). If there's no definitive word on the spacing/clearance stuff - would you be ok with the option of me bringing the car i want to put them on over and trial fitting one before committing to buy them?
