No, have rotated tyres, expected that I would feel it through the steering if it was tyres.

Thanks

Hi, just wondering if anyone has had trouble with a clutch causing vibration while driving? I have changed rear wheel bearings, diff centre, tail shaft and gearbox but the vibration remains, seems to get worse depending on engine rpm, is more intense when driving over 60kmh, and changes between gear changes, (worse).

Any ideas?

Thanks Geoff.

I also have one from mal, it runs fine now for a couple of months. I still have the resistor in with it. Tacho is hooked up across the resistor.

Hope the info helps.

Hi, just wanted to know if anyone has done this job and if it can be done at home without special tooling to press on the bearing retainers?

Thanks
Geoff

Its a 77 ute, but not sure its worth putting in a second hand centre as I could just end up with the same problem, anything I put in would be at least 30 years old.

I just hope I find its something simple?

Hi, thanks for the info guys. Tyres are 13 inch, definately not rubbing. It does feel like its coming from the Diff area. It doesn't feel like wheel bearings. Not sure what to do if it is the diff? Could end up costing more than what the cars worth.

Hi all, I am having a problem with a rumbling vibration coming from the rear end. Up to about 60 KPH its not noticiceable but gets steadily worse through 80 to 100KPH, (and beyond). When I push the clutch in and roll at these speeds it seems to get worse. I have swapped the tail shaft, thinking it might be out of balance but there is no change. The tyres are new and have just been balanced.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Geoff.

Ok, Am a bit confused now. The A15 I have has a H89 head on it, but the GX head is ported has larger valves and double valvle springs, I would have thought this was the best choice? I'm not sure if the a14T manifold can be matched to it?

Also would the mild cam from the A14 fit in the A15?

Thanks
Geoff.
