Havent picked the stanza up yet, don't know if i could be bothered with it. They seem to fetch bugger all either, unless they are SSS.
The only reason i pick up things like the stanza is to make money out of them, and if i don't stand to any money out of it i don't bother.
Hence why i've had 52 cars to date lol.
I'm not bothered by who puts what engine in what car, as long as it works.

Don't have any surplus nissan/datsun motors. This thread sorta leeds me to believe its not worth anything anyway so who cares.
I can get a Datsun stanza for free but its a L16 manual, falcon 6 has more torque and thats what i need.

Yeah i'm not selling it to andy now, i got rid of another car so that i can mod the coupe. I put a Falcon 250 X flow in a 200B wagon before and it went well for the build cost of $600, so i figure it will work even better in a 1000 coupe.
Yeah the stock front suspension won't be staying, nor will the rear end. Looking at present at puting a courier diff in it with coil overs and a ladder bar setup. Front will probably end up being double wishbone and a complete new cross member underneath which i may or may not just turn into a full chassis and link to the ladder bar setup. Such a small wheel base, so many possibilities. Cage, perspex the list goes on.
No, it will never see the road as a registered car again, purpose drag car.
Sell it when i'm bored with it.

I gave it all away, and crushed the spare shell today... why you may ask? well tyre kicker time waisting people jerked me around e.g. can I have more photos of this, I only want to pay $10 including postage for that part, yeah I will buy that part from you, sorry don't need it now... and so on and so fourth. I kept the pedal box and the rear diff only.
Andy inherited the whole 5 year collection of datsun 1200 parts, why? coz he is the only genuine person that didn't screw me around. He even helped me dispose of the spare shell. Thumbs up andy. If I come accross any more datsun 1200 stuff he will be the only person i contact.

LAST CALL FOR PARTS!!!
Any parts that anybody has been talking about has been removed from the car ready for postage or pickup. So if there is anybody else after parts please speak now as the 1200's days are numbered. Just PM me, it's easier to keep track of who wants what. Cheers lads.

The rear badge is excellent. The only worry would be breaking it geting it off. The rear bumper has a dent in it on the LHS, for it to look show condition it would need to be straightend. Would still be able to fit it to the car though.
If anybody needs more pics, please tell me all at once so I can go out and make 1 trip to take photos, the car is at my parents house 12km away.

Well done. I tried all the different 14s i had, must of just all been wrong. Tried XT130 corona, r31 skyline, sigma, celica, mitsubishi scorpion alloys, KA laser and none of them fit any good. Didn't have spacer plates though.

Went through my garage stock, mostly A12 engine parts and a gearbox with no main shaft. Coupla gear shifters, one has a wooden knob on it that looks original. An original oil filler cap with the castrol sticker on it, and just bits n pieces. Sent andy the pic so will have to wait till he posts it for me.
