yea coupe ones are different to sedans etc, I prolly have one but it's in Perth.. would need recond, but i think it's pretty straight..
I'll go look, shipping might be expensive though...

Drilling is to let out the gasses that build up on the pad surface, it's common for rotors to get heat cracks around the holes,
slots do a simular thing, without the heat cracks, another benifit of the slots it to wipe the surface of the pads(machine) so the intentin is that they stay flatter and keep the surface clean, but with a reduced pad life, ( I read approx 10%)

I got mine fitted with a new tripple core and bolted it back in the same hole.. no mess no fuss...

Thanks Guys,
appreciate the input, and ideas,
i didn't think the SR would be massively heavy as it's all alloy, and no ancillaries,
I always thought the L series was heavy and tall,

we'll see how it goes.. I'll get the Wagon finished and then see how keen we get to play with the SR kicking about the shed..

so much on the Go, I still have to screw together a Sprint boat engine for this season,as well as freshen up the engine in our boat, so we can have another challenger, now that is awesome fun..

the wagon, is a 68' it was a one owner, the old fella i bought it off, (I serviced it for him for years, was 93) even got the original recipts..
it's a works in progress, at the panel shop awaiting a coat of paint, the A14 is fresh, big cam, more comp, will be running a single 40 delorto, dogleg 5 speed, 15" wheels etc, the wheels, motor and 5 speed are ready to go, just put it back together when it comes home from the paint shop,

I think Neil has seen my coupe, many years ago, when his orange one was a driver... lol
and the other coupes are wrecks, parts,
a spare 4 door sedan and a 2 door wreck as well, and the yellow 2 door sedan, that is begging to be the transplant victim..

Keep it up fellas,
like i said, the reasons for.. the motor and box will cost net to nothing, I won't be running any AC or power steer etc,

the Dat is spare and well up for a transplant, it's a bit away from it's former glory (won a couple of trophy's at the western nationals a few years back with an A14)

I know 4AG was alway on the cards,
a Rotary would be good as well, but personal preferance keeps me away from that path,
VG30Dett with auto was the option for drags only,
I still love the A series, and have one ready to go in the Wagon,

the only problem with me smashing the SR in, is that the mate who I'm donating a 1000 coupe too, the rules were he's not allowed to swing a hair dryer off it.. ha ha
but i think if I go SR, all bets are off..
