As for the 120Y thing. I think that it would be pretty involved. The speedo and the petrol/temperature/etc clusters are joined together behind the dash...

depends what year, on my 1974 120y each unit is seperate. i think its the b310s that came with all the gauges as one unit.

Is there any automotive sparkys from Christchuch, NZ or anyone that has pretty good knowledge on datsun wiring. The previous owner of my 120y snipped the wires that go to the coil and i have no idea what goes where . Willing to pay for anyone who can repair it.

Cheers

ive struck a problem, std 120y tie rods arent quite long enough to bolt onto my new struts. im not sure what type of struts they are, but i got them out of a 1981 b310 coupe, also using b310 wishbone. ive posted a pic of one of them: http://datsun1200.com/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=1861 ...would b310 tie rods be compatible with my sterring rack or is there a way to use std 120y rods?

Thanks in advance

Karl
