To answer the question on the body work, we (wife and I) looked at a few welding machines yeserday. We plan to pick one up and practice on a few small projects and then tackle the car. On a side note, we have the equipment to paint it and this we have done with other cars (no practice needed). To make a long story short we plan to do all the work (exterior - interior -mechanical - upgrades) ourselves. I do have some welding experience and yes my wife supports me in my foolish and probably expensive endeavor - oh but what fun it is!

I am out that way often, how much do you need for it? Also would you perhaps have a stock radio with face plate and knobs and a dome lamp lense? And if you have a in the gauge set voltage regulator, I really could use one. Let me know.

This is a factory 5 (picture), with the emblem and all other indications to prove such. Also it has 77,000 miles and it is 32 years old and I still achieved 45 mpg at 60 mph as I brought it home - this before replacing the air filter (needed bad) and replaceing all the vacuum lines that were rotted away. I suspect when I am done bringing the engine to the point of my joy it will probably pull down 50! On a side note my first B210 back 30 years ago was a factory 5 and it also produced 78 ponies according to the name plate. I think that in the USA or perhaps just in 77 that it came with the stronger engine. I need to point out to my surprise that it is a stock factory set up electronic ignition. According to the owners manual only available with the configuration of 5spd - catalytic converter - non-california all other USA models of 77 recieved a point system.

Thank you for the location. Where might I locate a replacement?

I have decided to keep the body original (the coment's on the gapping and placement made sense to me). Where might I find that in gauge voltage regulator? If you noticed in the picture it has a Tach and the Clock (both work and are accurate), also it is a 5spd - all this without a radio! It has a stock plug where the radio belongs. Any body have a stock AM/FM (stereo if possible) along with the stock face plate and knobs they wouldn't mind parting with. I agree on the bumpers I much prefer the Euro stock! Any one have a set available and how much with shipping cost to Washington state, USA.

Thanx for the info. I will find the proper wheel set. Just being impatient, I guess.

Forgive me if this question is neal. I found a set of chromed steel wheels im a local wrecking yard. They were on a mid 90's Toyota Tercel on them were mounted a set of 155SR13's. Wanting to keep my orig tire size and these looking proper for a 70's style rim, you can imagine my dissapointment that they were the improper bolt pattern. The question is --- why can't I drill the proper lug pattern opposite of the current pattern.
