I wanted to keep it light, thats why I was leanning towards the 1200 ute diff but hate the idea of finding wheels to compensate the increased track. Can you cut these diffs down?
Ive had a few PM's asking same quetions. So hopefully this helps everybody. In my opion this needs alot of work but does have potential. I will get more pics.
The motor and box are out (i was told they both run fine years ago but I have not tested). Standard A10 wih standard carby. Standard box. Cross member missing (i think).
All the trim is out and inside stripped. Coupe dash welded in and dash pad sitting in loose. Dash is cracked but easy to repair at this stage. I have a set of guages but remember they will need to be wired in.
Floors need to be redone or fixed up. It would be best to paint it agian as one guard is white and apron missing. There is also the odd scratch or mark here and there but not many. To body is sweet though, no damage and no rust that I know of. All the rubbers in the doors and rear screen are new.
I would rewire it but, I do have old looms (they look old but look ok). So many parts in boxes I dont really whats good and whats not and whats mising. There is some good quality stuff though Wheels Grill Seats Dash
