Hey mate - I searched for 2 years for a the wooden sports wheel good luck!

savanagt and tokyo2u on ebay source kb10 stuff but they are pricey!!

talk to dundee he's in contact with bprojects in japan - maybe they can source you one?

beware the 1200 one - it looks similar but uses a different boss.

Cost me arround $900 - Adeliade to Perth for my KB10,
picked up in adelaide droped at the depot here in perth.

I would have said arround $1200 would be a good price from canberra as it's a little further than adelaide but if it's all you can find go with it!

well it wouldn't normally but this head has had the bolt holes taped into the head it doesn't show on the photo (becasue the gasket is in the way) but the head also has the centre bolts for the A12 setup, the ones that sit above the intake manifold. all it need are the studs removed from the A14 pattern and some put into the A12 holes.

Thanks dogeman I have an A12 manifold somewhere I'll dig it out.

seems this motor was built by a speedway guru maybe the A12 head on a A14 is a secret A series hotup trick!
I'll let you guys know how it goes, should be putting it all back together sometime this week.

Note: measured the rods same length in this engine as the tomei ones I bought

Kidney shaped head?

I didn't know there was a difference - I really should pay more attention to this stuff.

thanks for the help guys, It is going to be the workshop runarround so economy with some grunt is a bonus. i was only going to open the ports a little to match the intake manifold which is an A14 setup - but since this is not advised I might whack on an A12 manifold to match the ports up as I felt that having a big piece of alloy blocking the airflow from the A14 intake to the A12 type head wasn't good for power or enconomy.

I have just purchased some nice light tomei pushrods A14 spec - are these the same length as the A12 ones?

cheers

Pulling down the engine today - haddn't paid to much attention to the head until i saw the inlet ports - my A14 came with a free A12 head.

Has anyone seen this before? I was thinking of opening the ports out to match the intake manifold better sort of ramping the inlet port a bit - is this possible??

note below: as far as I understand standard A12's came with 35mm inlet valve and 29mm exhaust and A14's had 37mm inlet and 30mm exhaust

this head has 35mm inlet and 30mm exhaust!

coupe and 2 door ? I really cant see it working as i understand it the two door has the fixed rear seat like the 4door sedan.
the coupe's have a folding read seat alot like the wagons.
I had a look and the seat from the 4 door looks a bit taller than the coupe.

if your keen to pull apart a seat I guess it's cheaper than getting one recovered
