They turn up in unusual places,

while i was working in welshpool I found an old forklift that was using an A14 which I then exchanged through gem engines. At the time it cost about $800 bucks probably a bit more now.

Try other wrecking yards (i happend to see the forklift A14 while delivering parts to a wrecker in welshpool) you never know where you'll find em - good luck

The seats are different from the Sedan and the 1000 ute and also different from the 1200 coupe from what i can gather.

Allright this is deffinatly the last time I ask about 5 speeds.
This ones for you guys that have already put your G/B's in . They relate to the standard 5speed shit pattern box

On the Side of the box there are two electrical connections I assume one is a reverse light switch, but whats the other fow it looks exactly the same just positioned a little lower on the case.

Does anyone have an Idea of the price for a bearing kit for these things?
Got quoted $600 for someone to go through the box and put new bearings in - though it was a bit too much.

H145 and H150 Diffs - what models are those two out of?
And how different is the H165?

Had troubble finding some seats to fit the 1000 sedan and ute - I ended up getting a set of pulsar buckets outa some import model (they had better covering and bolstering than standard ones) got em cheap cause the car had been rolled and the headreasts were shot ($250pair), but without the headrest they fited nicely in the ute, one of the problems was finding seats that wern't to wide, I butcherd my old seats and fabricated new brackets on the pulsar seat's runners. It took me a whole sunday mucking arround jigging up the brackets, making sure everything was positioned right, but was worth the effort - Had to brush up on my welding skills but it was all simple stuff, my dad got his original seats recoverd for his ute, it cost him the same ammount as it did for me to put in the pulsar buckets.

Check out how much room ya got and head to the wreckers with a tape measure - I'd say its the cheapest way to get good seats.
