Just been looking at a solution for this in the KB10 but my extractors are very close to the front suspension, I think that with the innertube on it will get very close to them, i'm a little worried about the heat, dont really want a fire in the engine bay! any thoughts on the heat resistance of the rubber?

Hey

I'm in perth and bound to have 4 speed lying around, might have to dig it out of my parts shed but all the ones ive taken out over the years have been good, gimmie a call (ben)0439931906 if ya get stuck and can't find one. I prefer to swap parts not sell em but always willing to help out a fellow datto1200 member.

Your driveway or my shed mike, I think it would be a close run race!
Can't believe there's another white coupe in Radelaide someone must have been stockpiling them, and now they've all been shipped to perth...haha!
$1500 + shipping to perth $1000, maybe some repair work $500, Total cost $3000 still a bargain! paid 4 for mine by the time i landed it here and it still had a bung engine!

Dont quote me cause I only sell tyres for a living, but in my opinion, the yokos, falkens or hankooks are the pick, nankangs are getting to be a better brand but are still a budget option I used to run them on my ute daily driver in a 15" and they gripped pretty well in the wet, you'll get good wear out of the hurcules but slightly less grip, with the opposite true for the yokos.
Only use V rubber for tubes so can't really comment on them.
Hope that helps a bit
