Just to clarify this bit:
Quote:
..get the crank pulley recessed a bit to fit the gilmer pulley nicely in the original crank pulley

Just had a read of your How-to.. nice write up :) How do the ratios of the small-block chev pulleys compare to the stock datsun ones? Also, could you take a pic of the crank pulley?

Hi guys,

I'm switching over to programmable ignition in the next week or so (Megajolt)
I've been hunting for any references to the stock datsun dizzys curves, found one so far:

If anyone knows of or has any more maps for datsun distributors feel free to add them.
What I would like to do is adapt one of these curves to the programmable ignition map like this:

All the load and rpm scales can be adjusted if needed.
I need a little help adapting this to the Megajolt map.
I thought it would be good if you could have a stock datsun dizzy curve to start as a base-line for further tuning..
Others could even upload links to their custom maps in an excel sheet etc into this thread to keep a repository for any fellow datsun owner changing to programable ignition...

Cheers,
Sam

I didn't even think about it but my automatic vacuum pickup is on the #3 & 4 side. Would it pull enough air to affect the mixture so much.. I think it might. The carb is setup with the primary barrel closest to the engine..
