just to clarify, im going to have some springs made up, i just need to know how to take the measurement. when the car is at the desired height, do i just measure from cup to cup? or do i have to take into account spring sag?

yes cups are done.
remember i was telling you about the lower platform being welded on too low? well i figure rather than change that, ill get longer springs. I just dont want to stress the struts too much with re grinding and welding.....

Gday -

How do i go about measuring what height/length front springs i need?
If i jack the car to the desired height, and measure from the spring platform to the top, will that give them enough info?
It has 200b struts, so the stock 1200 springs are too short.

I couldnt go this far without giving my AU$0.02 worth - one simple phrase to remember - "each to their own".
I love the sound of a horny A series, but some big blocks sound pretty sweet too.
bogans will be bogans, and we are all judged on our choices. chicks love dattos, and my ute fits a matress in the tray - sweet as.
Im thinking of painting my ute fanta orange...

I think you can use the rear disks off a series 2 TRX, and they just bolt onto the ute diff...
Having rear disks on a light car can be dangerous however, i'd never do it to my ute - I'd end up with the ass end trying to overtake me. too much stuffing around with proportioning valves.

cheers, Linc.

I think they only got upgraded in the last 5 years or so, in South Africa, where the are still being produced today, with a longer wheel base, and a longer and higher cab.
If u have yahoo messenger, try Johan (aka bigblue007). He lives in SA, and has a hot little ute.
