hey - i am wondering if the valve guides in a late a15 are hardened, and whether i have to use leaded (or whatever it is called now)? Cos i read most japanese engines from early to mid 80's have hardened valve guides, and dont require the lead for lubrication - is there another reason why there is lead in juice? Does the type of carby matter( soon Im switching to twin s/d webers woo hoo!)? Also, this new lead substitute, whatever its called, is it as good as unleaded? thanks, Linc.

hey Peter, welcome. I think the boys at OZDAT were after a shell for a rally build up, and they are in Melbourne too - you can contact them at www.datascribe.com.au/ozdatonline/index.htm again, welcome. Linc.

Hey all, I am after info on flared guards - either flares that can be atatched, or fibreglass guards, or something else i havent mentioned... Due to my strut swap, which went well, the front is lower and wider, so i get rubbing on the front corners. How about getting the guards rolled? or cutting the front edge back? Flares look better eh? After seeing all those NZ coupes , i want fat feet too. Options please--thanks, Linc
