Silly question but what about going to a shorter ratio so that you don't need to go back to 2nd gear and end up using 5th more? Should give you more grunt through the mid range and might yield better results? provided it has enough grunt to pull through 5th
your right they are very long. im just using a 120y strut complete with 120y disc brakes in my road going 1200 sedan. i reckon the hoses are about 2-3 inches longer than i need in the 1200

can anyone help with part numbers for the front brake hoses (to caliper) for late model 120y (B210) brakes with PBR caliper?
ive been searching and ive come up with PROTEX part# H1154 but cannot find an image or detailed description for them and have a feeling that they might be for the early japanese calipers
just want to see if i can buy off the shelf before getting some new ones made cheers
