My stupid question for the day.

Can anyone shed some light on installing door glass on a 1200 sedan, I'm busy rebuilding my doors with all new rubber, once the rubbers is in place, i can;t figure out how to get the glass in place.

Picked up some work for the weekend yesterday, basically all the electrical components needed to wire the rear lights, fuel pumps, Water/Meth, spare and sensors.

Will be using a modular fuse box system, in order to add what I require. Also got a Toyota Hi-Ace steering column stalks, looks like they will mount very ease, a nice small and powerful battery and a few other elec bits.

This coming weekend I would like to get the front brake piping, clutch done, then the motor and gearbox can be permanently mounted, then also the rear brake and fuel lines, seeing that they will run thru the cab makes it a little time consuming, mdue to the fact that it needs to be super neat.

nick, this thread hasn't been updated for a year now, show us some progress.

I must say, damn, you aren’t afraid to use a grinder. If you don't like it or it is in your way cut it out and replace with something better.

Please update, it's not too late for me to steal a few ideas, this got me thinking, I wonder how my car would have been different if I haven’t had access to internet.

Probaly the easist will be to fit a steering quickener.

Looking at the picture, the weight transfer to the rear looks quite good as you have enough grip/power to lift the front wheel.

levey, yes it can be used with non efi engines, they sell something called a RPM Pickup cable which connects to one of the plug leads, but to take full advantage of these type of screens you need allot of supporting bits, like speed pickups to calculate gear position, extra sensors as they can't be shared between gauges and screen, this is where the nice managements come into place, if the management can comm via serial or can bus, then you only need one set of sensors for the management.

DON_1200 I don't know if you have ordered it already, but if you want to use it on a racing car, seriously consider saving for the DL1 and Screen combo. If you think the Dash is a trick bit of kit, the DL1 is magic, especially if you use a nice management setup that you can communicate via serial or can bus.

Are you going to use it a a stand alone unit with sensors attached directly to it, or linked to a mangement unit?
