I'm also busy planning to converting the A14 to EFI.

I have the GX head on, so decided to run to 43mm Toyota throttles off the GX manifold.

Hopefully in will run as good as the twin Hitachi's.

I'd very much be interested in a higher resolution copy of this.

Lovely! Car flies! And handles well, does not seem to be hard work keeping it on the track. More so on the gearlever!

And what about all the way back to the inlet of the ram tube on the ITB's.

Edit: Like in pre-throttle body/plate

What are the advantages and disadvantages of placing fuel injectors close to the head vs further back on the runners or even in the ram tubes on the ITB's.

Had a look at those pictures earlier.
Modifying the has come up as an option, but the manifold gasket is holding me back.
I'm thinking of something similar to the OEM injector placement, without modifying the head. But I'd like to see some pictures of others that tried it before.

Vir n nuweling op n forum is jy darem erg voorbarig. Vat dit rustig en vra mooi, soos jou Ma jou geleer het!

What's the specs on your motor? To chase down 1.8i R-lines your gonna need quite a bit of work done to a stock A14? I'd suggest you get hold of a good condition A12 GX head, do a nice port and flow job on it. Run the twin Hitachi's from the A12 with a 268 cam. The combination works very well and won't hamper daily driving.
We made good power with that combination. But as I said, you'll need quite abit more to chase down those R-lines.

I've decided to part with the trusty old twin Hitachi's.
Going EFI on the A14. The plan is to keep the A12 GX manifold that I've got and run two 43mm throttles on it.

I'm looking for idea's and pictures of injector placement on the GX manifold.
Has anybody tried it before?
