drilling them is no prob, you can buy wheels in multi patterns so i don't thiknk strength is an issue, and the taper hole can be done with a $10 countersink bit for your drill from bunnings

queensland rules in oz arent to bad, once you get rego there are no more inspections, so i have always sent my cars for the slip pretty standard and then done my mods and stuff after that, even if you get pulled up, unless the copper is clever enough to spot the changes your all good. i still wouldnt try puttin a v8 in my datto though...lol

yeah well a little turbo was the plan, something that will spool in early and if it tops out in boost around 4000 it doesnt matter as the car is gonna be a daily driver.

i would'nt recommend doin at home, i have cut diff and modified mounts for a doz or so cars and then just had the orinal axles from the diff remachined to suit my new lengths, but you need a good local machine shop for that bit, and with the diff modifing care should be taken to keep it all straight as welding the new brackets and mounts can distort the housings.

you may not necasarily burn more lpg than fuel, an engine set up to run lpg only and tuned for lpg will equal or even better petrol burn.
to start with gas will burn at 11 or 12 or even more to 1 with no addatives, gas specific cams are available, voodoo cams i think there called.many other advantages from gas only too like its already gas and burns freely, problem with most conversions is may sacrifices are made to have motor run on petrol too.

i have 2 b310 sunny's and enough good parts between them to get a complete nice straight body together. not sure what to do with the engine, do the 1400 valves fit in the 1200 head and then i get it ported or does the 1400 head fit on a 1200. is there a inlet manifold available with bigger holes or should i be chasing a gx one around. just how much cam angle is enough. sorry bout all this but been a ford builder till now and this is my first tip toe in the 4 pot pool. and what about a turbo how much work do i need to do to a 1200 to make that a viable option.
