especially when you had a few beers, get home and check the tacho at last placed revved and it shows 10k.... couldn't believe it so i reset and did it again :) i'll check into the valve situation, maybe i can get a 40mm just to be safe as the bore is still standard

had a look at lemonhead's thread. his is just under 3kg's, which is too much for a street car i think. guess 5kg's should do the trick

thanks, i'll look into that. i've seen a few threads and most people seems to be going for around 5kg's on the flywheel, just want some more input before i jump into it. as for the head i have no idea if 2mm will be enough as i saw someone taking 2mm off an h89 which compreesion is already a lot more than the h75

yes, it's from the l16/l18 engine. the engine is a stock a14, just doing cam which is a tr68 290 degree which i know is hectic but it works like hell, had one in my gx as well, then just proper compression and light flywheel for now. i will be upgrading to an a15 very much later.

i'm using an h75 head and as far as the wiki is a 37mm intake and 30mm exaust. do you think i should just do the exaust as i don't see why spend the money for a 1mm bigger valve on the intake side?

hi everyone, want to know what would be a good scheme for my h75 head, could not get hold of a gx or h89 (i know hey are much better) but have to work with what i got. i want to get compression good for street use, say about 10.5:1 if anyone could tell me how much to take off the head. i've already got double valve springs for it and getting it flown and match ported for the twin su manifold. another question is how light should i go with the flywheel, i know it loses some power, but i need the thing to rev up fast. any help is greatly appreciated

i'm getting my cam back tommorow, wondering what would be the best size valves to fit. i know most people fit the L18 valves and just cut down the valves, it's a 42mm intake and i think a 35mm exaust valve. is this the size to go for or should i stick with stock valves?
